Facilities

GD&F occupies one of the most modern and technologically advanced engineering offices in Central Pennsylvania. The 13,000 square foot facility, designed by GD&F and David Albright, AIA, Architect, was recognized in 1998 by the American Institute of Architects, Central PA Chapter for design excellence.

The facility incorporates the following:

• 35 offices and work stations
• Server network (4GB of RAM) with wireless capabilities
• Open design studio and CADD work area
• Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) capabilities include AutoCAD 2008, AutoCAD Civil 3D 2008, Microstation Version 8, ArcView GIS 9.02, 3D Studio V12 Modeling Platform and Land Desktop
• Document reproduction and plotting area consisting of two electrostatic plotters (OCE 9400), digital document scanner (Vidar, wide flat-bed), laser printers and large volume document copier.
• Analytical water laboratory
• Conference rooms and library
• Construction support area
• Archives, plans and records storage
• Field survey support and storage area
• State-of-the-art building environmental systems using energy-efficient facilities in accordance with the latest ASME, BOCA, Labor and Industry, and NFPA codes
