Clearfield State Correctional Institution

L.D. Astorino, Architects, selected GD&F as site/civil engineers for the new Clearfield SCI facility. This 1,500 capacity, medium security correctional facility was built on a 165-acre site near Houtzdale, PA. The total project cost exceeded $80 million.

GD&F did a comprehensive field instrument survey, designed stormwater management and detention systems, erosion and sedimentation control plans and prepared all site permit and approval applications. The plans for this fast-track project were completed in 200 days.
