Quaker's Knob 1.0 MG Water Storage Tank

GD&F designed a 103-foot high, 1,000,000 gallon capacity water storage tank to serve the needs of the Washington District of the Pennsylvania-American Water Company.  Located on Quaker's Knob, the work included all environmental engineering, facility permitting, geotechnical investigation and preparation of plans and specifications.

The project also included site, access roadway and drainage work.  In addition, GD&F furnished engineering support to the Pennsylvania-American Water Company during construction.  The project, funded through the PA Infrastructure Investment Authority, was successfully completed within budget.
